1. February Monthly Meeting: Wednesday, February 26
The February monthly meeting is scheduled for Wednesday, February 26, from noon to 1pm in the 6th floor Chinook/King (603/604) conference rooms.
2. WW Contract Negotiations
TEA WW Bargaining Chair Alton Gaskill held a bargaining kick-off meeting on January 28, 2014, that was attended by WW staff and supervisors. The next WW Bargaining Committee meeting will be on April 8 at noon in KSC 8i.
3. Transit Contract Status
On January 22nd Transit members voted to accept a one-year contract extension for 2014. The approved contract will be routed to the Executive and a resolution will be sent to the King County Council for adoption. Following adoption of the resolution by the Council, the new wage rates will go into effect and retro payments back to January 1, 2014 will be calculated and distributed by KC Payroll.
Meanwhile, the Transit Bargaining Team is preparing to for negotiations for the next contract (2015 and beyond). If you have any bargaining or Labor/Management issues, please send them to Transit Bargaining Chair Elizabeth Wright.
